Adding a second hard drive

- [Instructor] The easiest solution for a nearly full hard drive is to get a second one. This can be an internal or external model. Your goal is to immediately start moving information to the second hard drive to free up space on the first drive. Moving forward, you need to remember that you must continue using the second hard drive. The easiest second hard drive to add is external. Get a high-capacity external drive connected with a USB 3.0 cable. Plug the drive directly into the computer box for the best performance. You can also add a drive internally, which takes a bit more skill but it's possible. This solution helps avoid a cluttered desktop. Once you have the drive, the next step is to remember to use it.
