Adding a guest account to your computer
- [Instructor] If you need to let other people use your computer, there are a few options on Windows 10 and Mac OS to help keep your information protected when you do. Both platforms offer the ability to create unprivileged users, or users that can't change system settings. If a specific person is going to use your computer more than once, it may be a good idea to set them up with an unprivileged or standard user. They'll be able to store their files and your files and system settings will be protected. Both operating systems also offer the ability to create a guest account, or an account that basically forgets whatever happened in it when the account logs out. Guest accounts are a good option if one or more people need to use your system on a one off kind of basis. Anything they download to the guest account will be deleted and they don't have access to anything private on your system either. Lets start on the Mac and then we'll switch over to Windows 10.
