There are constantly new stories and movements across the world to understand how we use and access our data. If you're interested in understanding more about how your rights are changing, I would suggest first joining a local security mailing list that can keep you to up-to-date with policy changes in your local area. There are some great online communities as well, that share tips with new software that can also help you out. It can be useful to also look every three months to run a through a basic audit of the types of data you share with online services, and ask what would happen if that source was compromised or if their terms change.
