And it has historically been applicable to the desk tops and lap tops found in offices and common areas. And occasionally has included phones and tablets. But with the growth of cloud computing, another option has presented itself. The new paradigm is that work is happening on leased servers somewhere out on the internet, not on your work station. All information, apps, and security are being hosted, and all we need is a web enable device to access it. It sounds a little like the main frame networks of yesteryear and that's because it is with two noticeable differences.
