It is possible to reroute networks to a wireless network via a gateway.Securing a Wi-Fi by creating your own adds some complexity initially, but then individual devices would not be required to be reconfigured every time the location and access points change. Micro-routers really don't take much room, are quite affordable and have the same capabilities as larger models. Initially, setup might be more difficult, but will save time when connecting secondary devices frequently.
