- [Instructor] So, now at the point, we've used our physical view to grab some hard drives to create a RAID group. We've used our logical view to create a volume. We've used our mappings to map that server to a volume. And now it's time to use our snapshot capability. And that's the snapshot capability. So, we've got our volume selected, and we hit Create, and it gives me some instructions. It says I want a simple one. Snapshot volume name, names it for me. Snapshot repository name, it names it for me. Snapshot repository volume capacity is 160 gigabytes. That's basically what's left over in that volume. And here are the parameters. And we say finish. And now we have a snapshot. So, based on point of time that the snapshot runs, then you can recover the snapshot to a previous version. The necessity of doing that is primarily driven around user error. So, accidental deletion, or viruses, or accidental data entry, or so forth and so on.
