- [Instructor] Storage arrays require management, just like anything in the world. The way that you manage these storage arrays is through the Admin console. And through the Admin console is the way to allocate resources to create RAID groups, to create volumes, to connect servers to volumes, to create snapshots, to create volume copies. This going to be your tool of choice going forward as a storage administrator. So now we're going to continue our learning exercise with the use storage simulator. This looks and feels and tastes exactly like a storage console, except that it's not connected to a storage array. I would strongly encourage you to grab a storage simulator from your storage manufacturer of choice. They all look and smell and taste the same. They all kind of have the same functions. So here we see the opening screen, and typically you would go through a discovery phase. So this discovery phase captures all of the SAN arrays, that this console can see. In this case it…
