Setting desktop power options

Setting desktop power options: Help Yourself: Tech Tips

Set PC power options when the computer is connected to an uninterruptible power supply or UPS. Set screen and system time-outs for a PC when it's on regular or backup-battery power. When the power goes out, the UPS keeps the system alive long enough for you to save your data and shutdown the PC. Set the power button's function, assigning to it the command sleep, shutdown, or disabling the power button.
