Securing device access
- [Instructor] With our device in hand, and our Google account set up, we're ready to work through the device access. As we covered earlier for Android device access, we can set it up through either Swipe, Pattern, PIN, Password, or Fingerprint. Let's go to our device, and set up device access. Here on my Android device, I will swipe up to access, notice it doesn't require a PIN or password. In the bottom, right, there is the settings icon. I'll select that. Now I'm in the settings. I'll scroll down to security and location, and tap it. You notice under Device security, the Screen lock is set to none, that's what we want to change for security. So let's select Screen lock. Here it is, you can see the options we've spoken about. Cause we know that the most secure option here is Password, we're going to select Password. Now let's set our screen lock password. Re-enter it. And confirm. Further on in the course, we'll talk about notifications, but as a default, we'll leave it at Show all…
