Recovering a deleted file: Help Yourself: Tech Tips

Immediately after deleting a file, press Ctrl+Z to bring it back. You can search for deleted files in the Recycle Bin. When the File History feature is active, use it to restore a deleted file. Browse for a deleted file and recover it. The File History feature must be enabled in Windows for it to work properly and aid you in recovering a deleted file not found in the Recycle bin.
