- [Instructor] We've talked about consolidation. We've talked about service levels. We talked about RAID. Now let's take a moment to put all these together in an example of how to actually implement service levels in a quasi real world environment. Here we see customer service. This is SLA1. This is the most important run the business application. The other applications, email, office, manufacturing inventory, are SLA2 and SLA3 respectively. These are less important. So let's implement an SLA and a RAID arrangement to match up with that. SLA1 again, point of sale, banking, order entry, reservations, ecommerce, these are all top tier run the business types of applications. They merit SLA1. So they basically merit a performance-optimized SSD storage with array caching. They merit a very rigorous protection and recovery.
