- [Instructor] When it comes to assessing needs for different organizations, I like to think of a parable of two different boats. Now, some organizations are like kayaks. They're small. They're light. They're eminently maneuverable. You can spin them around in their own length. On the other hand, others are a lot more like 700-foot container ships. They like to go slow. They like to go in straight lines. But they can carry maybe 25,000 tons of cargo halfway around the world. But one thing's for sure. If you're in a container ship and you want to turn your boat around, you better plan ahead. Now, in terms of organizations, you'll often hear people talk about agile organizations. If you work in the startup world you get to hear about a lot, one of the hallmarks of an agile group is the ability to respond to new information or changing markets by adapting their products or services very quickly.
