- [Instructor] Let's talk about the fundamentals of moving your network to the public cloud. So what's important is that, core network services can be found in the cloud, and they are typically much more cost effective. So keep in mind that leveraging a DNS, a domain name server, out of the cloud is going to be typically cheaper than doing so over doing so on premise. Also, leveraging a virtual private cloud is going to be a service that can only be offered by the particular cloud provider, such as Microsoft or Amazon web services. You need to consider what works, and what the cost is. So again, this goes into the business case, the cost case, to us delivering a network. And so if we're able to operate networking services cheaper out of the public cloud, then that should be the way you go. Note, you can't move it all, ultimately this is about moving some services into the public cloud, but the public clouds don't do everything networks do, and so we still have an on premise network…
