- Let's share some time to think about the future of the storage industry. The SAN market and NAS market is a large and healthy market. Year on year, it's at least a $60 billion dollar market. It is low-growth, but it's still $60 billion dollars a year. It's not going away. The majority of enterprise data centers continue to use Fibre Channel because of the deterministic IO. These will not go away any time soon. SAN will be with us for the foreseeable future. And for the future of the storage industry, you can expect the shift, but it will not shift drastically. Hosting services will grow gradually. EMC, NetApp, Dell, HPE, Cisco and Oracle, the traditional storage and networking guys, they will respond, they will respond gradually. I believe that one of the ways that they will respond will be to increase their converged infrastructure solutions. What I mean by that is a full rack of network, compute, storage, all put together with software installed, all delivered into a data center…
