- [Instructor] Now the VSD is this graphical user interface that we are currently looking at, and it has a lot of services including statistics. So it can collect statistics from the network, such as packet synced, CP utilization, memory utilization, and so forth. It communicates with the VSCs using XMPP. So as an example, it's communicating with VSC one and VSC two using XMPP, which in turn, communicate with the VRSs using open flow. So open flow would be used to update flows on these VSCs. So that's the pretty GUI interface. So what I've done here is I've SSH'd to VSC one and VSC two. So this is the first VSC. It has two VRSs registered with it. This VRS is down, but let's look at that through CLI. So now we're getting into the details, so I can use a command show V switch controller XMPP server, and that shows me that this VSC has a functional, in other words, a good connection to the VSD with this DNS main.
