Azure certifications

- [Narrator] So, the next cloud certification…we're going to take a look at is Microsoft Azure.…Now, when I say new in market,…it doesn't mean Azure is new in the market,…Azure's been around for a while,…not as long as Amazon web services,…but the certifications for Azure…are new in the Microsoft certification market.…Microsoft, of course, has been in the certification business…for on premise skills for IT pros and developers…for a really long time.…Now, there's a high demand, particularly in Enterprise,…for companies that are using…Microsoft technologies on premise,…so window shops, dot net shops,…because they tend to want to at least try out…the Microsoft Azure cloud maybe in conjunction with Amazon,…maybe they do a kind of a bake-off with Amazon.…

So if you're working in a company that is a Microsoft shop,…this can be a lucrative career move to go out…and have initiative to get Azure certified…maybe even before you start deploying…cloud applications out there.…Now there's a small number of exams…because these exams are new in the market…
