- [Narrator] I would be doing a disservice to all employees if I did not include them in the inventory of IT resources. From the employees using the most sophisticated custom software, to the ones that only use a computer to check their email every few days, every employee is an IT resource. The importance of the employee goes far beyond basic maintenance. Yes, things to more smoothly when the computer users empty their own recycle bin, and keep their desktops tidy. But that can be said of physical workspace as well. And, it's also nice when users refrain from opening every virus-infected email attachment that makes it through the firewall. But I'm not talking about that either. More than that, the technology users have the crucial role of issue reporting, a responsibility that can't be delegated or transferred.
