Add DPM backup storage locations
- [Instructor] In addition to reaching out over the network to grab storage to be used for a DPM storage pool, we can also use storage that's local to the DPM server itself. Here on the DPM server, I've gone into the Server Manager, into File and Storage Services, and then I've gone into Volumes, Disks. So one of the things that we can see here, is that we've got our iSCSI disk, that's already been added as storage for DPM, then we've got a 60 gig MBR partition type of disk which is used for our operating system, and I've added a second 60 gig disk here, it's been partitioned as a GUID Partition Table type of disk and I've already got a volume created down below as we can see, it's been formatted, it's labeled as drive F. Now it needs to be formatted for it to show up in DPM, even though DPM is going to overwrite the data. So let's switch over into the DPM console.
