Using the Copy node

- In the geometry layer of Houdini, and I venture to say in all of Houdini, one of the most powerful nodes is the copy node. And the copy node allows you, on a simple level, to take some points in one side and copy objects to those points. And on a larger level, it allows you to then create as many variations of the incoming objects as you can think of. And you can customize any of those parameters endlessly. So it's quite powerful for making a really large amount of detail and variation. So let's start in and make a simple scene to demonstrate how the copy node works. I'm going to go up to my shelf, and I'm going to make a sphere. I'm going to drop that right here in the center of my scene. And I'm going to zero this out to make it nice and neat. And I'm going to close some of these panes, just so we have a little more space to work here. So now I'm going to click on my sphere object and dive in.
