Understanding important Mantra settings

- So we've seen how to set up a Mantra node for rendering, and how to set the basic parameters just to get images out to disk. Now we're gonna take a look at some of the fundamental parameters to control quality. So I'm gonna click on the Mantra node, and press P. You can see the main change I made is that I've now turned on this Override Camera Resolution parameter. If we turn that off, those go away, and whatever the resolution in our camera, which by default here is 1280 by 720, it's gonna send that pixel dimension to the renderer. But sometimes, especially when we're doing tests, we want that to be a bit smaller, so we can just change that here for temporary purposes, so I'm gonna change that to 640 by 360. I'm gonna go over to our Render View pane here on the left side of our screen, I'm gonna hit Render. And there we go, there we have our frame.
