- [Craig] So now I have the basics of our wire simulation setup, and now I'm going to show you how we can tweak the primary parameters of a wire simulation to get the behavior working the way you want. So we're going to go into our wire sim here. Let's scroll around. Let's frame this up, and let's go to our wire object, the top node. And this is where we're going to set up the parameters that really define the behavior of our wire simulation. As with anything in dynamics land, there are a lot of parameters, and the great thing about Houdini, is we basically can ignore anything that we don't need to worry about until we get to that point that we then need to adjust it. I think this is why this can be a little overwhelming at times, but we're just going to focus in on the parameters that we need to adjust and ignore the other ones.
