Creating procedural animation channels
- [Voiceover] All right, so now we have our pulses that we've extracted from our drum loop, and we're just gonna keep massaging this data to get it to be what we want so we can do our random rotations on our cubes. So if we middle mouse-click on our trigger, we see that we have our channel and it's 96 hertz, and we want to re-sample this down to 24, which is the frame rate we're working in. So I'm gonna hit Tab, Resample. Drag that down, and its default value is it kind of does some interpolation and some of these are all these different values now and it's made it a lot smaller, that's 'cause its linear interpolation mode was selected, I'm gonna switch this to Pulse Preserve. What that's gonna do is it's gonna re-sample it down to our 24 hertz, but it's gonna know that those pulses that are coming in are things we want it to keep, and that's gonna preserve them, so smart software, thank you.
