- [Instructor] HitFilm has a number of ways to preview and export your project. Knowing how these all work and interact will help you work more efficiently on projects. First up, let's take a look at something called the RAM preview button, which is only available inside composite shots. When you're working on a composite shot, you'll find a smaller playback icon up in the viewer, just next to the normal playback button. As you work on increasingly complex projects, your computer may not be able to play them back in real time. As we covered back at the start of the course, HitFilm has a range of features for managing playback performance. Sometimes, though, you just want to get a preview of a short section of a project at full quality and at full playback speed to see if it's doing what you need. Well that's what the RAM preview button is for. Clicking it begins rendering the frames from the playhead's current position. It will keep going until you click again or until the allocated…
