Editing videos is one of the more intensive things you can do on a typical computer. This is especially true if you get into the 3D compositing side of HitFilm. Now, if you're set up with all the latest gear and a top of the range processor and graphics card, you probably don't have too much to worry about. But if you're using a more average computer, the good news is that HitFilm has a lot of built in features to make things run smoothly for you. First up, let's take a peek into the options window, which can be found up here in the file menu.
