Creating and using presets

- [Instructor] As you work on more projects, you'll find yourself creating combinations of effects which you want to re-use. This is especially the case with color grading, where you might want to apply a similar look to multiple shots or even across different projects. HitFilm already has a number of presets which you'll find in the Effects panel. I'm gonna add a clip to the timeline so that we can see exactly how presets work. After you've got something on your timeline, go to the Presets folder, then the Film Looks folder, and find the Black and white Old Stock preset. Then drag that onto your clip, exactly like you would with a single effect. You can see the immediate result in the viewer. If I select the clip and then head up to the Controls panel, you can see the multiple effects have been added which each already set up to achieve the desired result. Once a preset has been applied, the effects on the clip then function as ordinary individual effects. And that means we can now…
