Comparing the editor timeline and composite shots

- [Narrator] So far we have been dealing exclusively with the Editor timeline. Which is where you assemble your clips into a sequence. The Editor timeline is made up of multiple tracks, each of which can contain a long sequence of clips one after another. But that's not the only kind of timeline that HitFilm has to offer. There's also something called Composite Shots. If the Editor sequence is the HitFilm's equivalent of working in an Adobe Premiere or Apple iMovie, then Composite Shot timelines are closer to using Adobe After Effects. They're designed for visual effects and motion graphics. Let's create one of these timelines so that we can have a closer look. Creating a Composite Shot can be done in numerous ways, but let's keep it simple for now. In the media panel click the new button, which is something we've not actually looked at before.
