Animation and keyframes

- [Instructor] This is the final piece of the puzzle with regards to working in HitFilm. Once you understand how key frames work and therefore how to animate, you'll be armed with all the knowledge you need to go off and explore the software led by your own imagination. To cover the basics, let's create a new empty project to mess around in. When creating the new project, this time click the start compositing button instead of the usual start editing button we've used before. The key difference here is that it will create a blank composite shot straight away. Useful if you're working on a specific visual effects or motion graphics shot. You can of course still jump over to the editor timeline whenever you want using the tabs on the timeline. In the composite shop timeline, go to the new layer menu. There's a bunch of option in here you might have seen before. For now, we're gonna use the plane option which will pop up this window. Change the name to rectangle and the width and height…
