Once you have completed your training needs analysis, there still is one major step you need to take. Presenting the results to project sponsors. For many projects, you'll need to get the project sponsors to sign off on the analysis. This includes approving your recommendations, accepting your conclusions, and agreeing to the learning objectives you've written for the training program. This step is often conducted in a face-to-face meeting, or over the telephone if that's not possible. Before holding your meeting, it's a best practice to summarize your work in a training needs analysis document. There are two training needs analysis documents that are available for you to download. The first is a template that you can use to complete your own training needs analysis.
