Passage-based reading technique
- With any SAT question, it's a good idea to have a method to use, so you don't skip, or rush, important steps. This is particularly true of passage-based reading questions. In this video, I'll explain my basic passage-based reading question technique. Let's take a look at this passage, I'll read it for you. The news story often begins with a flourish. The beloved local football team may pick up and leave town unless it gets a new place to play. Up goes the hue and cry, diehard fans start to grumble, and a committee is formed to determine if a new stadium can be built. But, amidst all the dramatics, many people forget to consider the true motives of the team's owner. Wealthy individuals such as professional sports team owners, have long known how to conceal their true net worth to avoid taxes or unwanted scrutiny.
