- Once you understand how much is involved with SAT prep,…it can feel overwhelming.…This movie will give you a few ideas about…structuring your preparation for the SAT.…So the first thing I tell students to think about…is building foundational skills.…So this is stuff like vocabulary, reading, math,…grammar, and writing.…This is really the base of your prep,…and you want to spend some time doing it, if you need to.…I'll give some specific recommendations…for each of these skills in later movies.…
After you've started to build some foundation for the test,…then it's time to learn some technique.…So by technique I mean step by step methods…to solve particular questions.…Once you have your technique down,…you're ready to practice with official SAT tests.…First you want to practice untimed,…so you can make sure your technique is sharp,…and then later timed to practice realistic test taking.…So once you're done practicing a section or a test,…it's time to review.…
You want to analyze questions…whether you got them right or wrong.…
