Configuring headers and footers

- By default, a Mailman mailing list allows subscribers to receive the list using either regular delivery, in which each message is delivered to the subscriber shortly after it is posted, or digest delivery, in which messages are batched up into digests. As the list administrator, you can control the availability and parameters of both forms of delivery. To configure the settings for regular delivery, that is for subscribers who receive each message as it is posted, click on non-digest options in the bulleted list at the top of any page in the administrative interface. The first option on this page, can subscribers choose to receive email immediately, suggests whether non-digest mode, that is receiving messages from the list one at a time, is allowed. For most lists, this should be set to Yes. The header added to mail sent to regular list members option is text that Mailman inserts at the top of each message sent to non-digest subscribers.
