- [Instructor] So, to get going here first what I want to do is show you how to set up the samples in our VM. And then we'll go explore those using the new command line interface of beeline, which you can think of as the evolution of the hive command interface. So, I'll just open up my browser here by clicking on the globe in the menu bar up above. And you can see I have pretty good instructions here exactly on how to do it. So, what I'm going to do is launch the Hue UI. I'll log in with cloudera as a username. And cloudera as the password. Don't need it to remember that. It'll fire up and check the configuration for me. The configuration looks good. Now, I'll go over to examples, and I'm going to click on hive where it says install the individual application examples. Examples refreshed, I'm good. Now, let's go over to our terminal window, and see what's going on inside of hive. I'm going to go ahead and minimize my window here. And open a new terminal window, and I'll maximize it or…
