Using high-definition graphics in your HTML email

- In this lesson, we're going to talk about supporting…high definition, or retina enabled screens,…with your graphics inside of your email.…So I first want to talk about what we need to do…to a graphic to make it high density, or retina enabled.…Now before we had high definition, or retina enabled…screens, we had standard density, or low density,…which was somewhere around 120 pixels per inch.…Since then, manufacturers have…been able to fit more and more pixels on a screen.…When we have about 240 pixels per inch, we move into…the high definition, or high density displays.…

This is the first version of high density.…At the time of this recording, manufacturers have been…able to create displays that support 3, 4 and 5K,…which is three, four and five times the number…of pixels that standard density display supported.…So what this means for our graphics is if we create…our graphics at the size they're going to be…displayed on the device, a standard definition device…will show the graphics with all of the fidelity…
