Solution: Increase audio accessibility with tags

Solution: Increase audio accessibility with tags
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] One possible solution to this is if we look down here we'll find our audio element with a number of source elements and other properties associated with it. You can see that I've added some additional elements wrapping our audio source. I have a figure element and also a figcaption element with a little descriptive text. This is going to add an additional layer of accessibility through standard descriptors in HTML. Note that I've also gone ahead and added a rule to our CSS styles, which defines the font family, color and a little bit of padding. Having a look at the result. We can see that the audio file now has a bit more context to it and it is therefore much more accessible.
