Goodbye
In this course my goal was to give you a good understanding of HTML5 geolocation application programming interface. I have covered how the API works, how to write the callbacks that use position data, how to get one-time location and how to get continuous position updates for both desktop and mobile devices. As with the most of the HTML5 application technologies, the specifications for HTML5 geolocation remain in flux. I suggest that you keep up with these changes on the World Wide Web Consortium web site in order to make sure that your code works with current and future browsers. And be sure to check out the other HTML5 titles here on the lynda.com Online Training Library. As always, feel free to use my working examples as a starting point for your own applications, and I look forward to seeing what you do with HTML5 geolocation in your own projects.
