Author Richard Harrington shows you how to access the GoPro HERO5 Setup menu with the physical buttons, back LCD screen, and the GoPro App.
- In order to properly configure…your GoPro HERO5 Black or Session,…you're going to want to access the Setup menu.…It's really important,…and there are a couple of different ways to go about it.…Now, if you're just using the physical buttons…on the camera, it's pretty straightforward.…In the past, pressing the Mode button…would cycle you through different modes,…and one of those modes (camera beeps)…was the Setup mode.…If you're a longtime GoPro user,…you might be wondering where the gear and wrench went.…It's no longer there, in your menu.…
(camera beeps) Well, that's because you can…access everything on the back here.…Simply swiping down from the top will bring up the menu,…and you'll see the choice for Preferences.…So just tap Preferences to access the Setup menu,…which is pretty straightforward.…And this'll make it simple to just scroll through…and see all the choices,…choosing options and bouncing back and forth.…Now, easy enough, but I actually prefer to use the app,…and it's going to make it a bit simpler.…
