Join Ray Villalobos for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the exercises for this course, part of Gulp.js: Web Project Workflows.
- [Instructor] All the files for this course are freely available as a github repo at this URL. Now the repository is built so that there are branches for each of the videos in the course. You can use this branch pop-up menu right here to switch to a specific branch and take a look at how the code works on a specific video. For example, the branch titled 01_03 would show you the code on chapter one and the third video. If you see a b at the beginning of the name it means that's how the code looked at the beginning of the video, and if you see an e at the end of the name, that's how the code looked at the end of the video. Now in this course, I start with the content on the first video in the first chapter. So to get started, you should go to that branch, and then click on this clone or download button and download the ZIP file for the project. Once you have that, you can decompress the file, and here you can rename it if you want to, so I renamed mine gulpjs4, and then you can open this in your favorite editor to get started. I'm using Visual Studio code in this project. Now if you need more experience working with git and github, do a search for github in our library. So if you're comfortable with this requirement, then let's get started.
