- When you first load Guitar Rig onto a track…the rack will be empty.…So, you'll hear a dry, slightly pre-amplified…sound when you play.…You need to make sure to hit the record engage button…on your DAW of choice so you hear audio.…In this instance, though, I'm using Ableton.…I've just got the monitor in button engaged…which does the same thing.…Now, Guitar Rig is ready for you…to start loading components.…You can open up the component pool…by clicking on Components in the sidekick.…Some of the categories are…Amplifiers, Cabinets, Delays and Echoes,…and so on and so forth.…
You can select any component by clicking on it…where it will become highlighted.…A list of all available presets…for that component are shown below…when you click on the Presets button.…To load a component into the rack…you can either drag the component over to the right…or you can double click on it.…If I wanna delete this, I'll just hit…the X key to clear the rack.…Another way to load a component…is to double click on the preset below…which will load the component with…
