Join Ray Villalobos for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know, part of Grunt.js: Web Workflows.
Web Project Workflows with Grunt.js is not a beginner course and you should be familiar with how web projects are put together. Now this course has two main prerequisites, first you need to know how to work with the terminal and NPM, the node package manager. That's so you can install project dependencies in this course. If you need help understanding how to work with a Unix terminal application, check out Unix for Mac OS X Users with Kevin Skoglund. Now, if you're not familiar with NPM, the node package manager, I created a special course that is a prerequisite to this course so make sure you watch that before watching this course.
Now this project is also available as a github repo, so if you want to follow along you should be familiar with Git and GitHub commands. Again, I've prepared a special course that is a prerequisite to this course called Up and Running with Git and GitHub. If you want a more comprehensive tutorial on how to work with Git, then check out Kevin Skoglund's Git Essential Training. And you don't really need to how to use Git if you just want to follow along with the video, only if you want access to the exercise files. Now Web Project Workflows with Grunt.js is not for beginners but if you're comfortable with NPM and Git based projects you should have no problem watching this course.
