- [Instructor] Welcome, I have an exercise file open already. This is the third in a series of videos focused on the Wallacei X plugin or the Wallacei plugin for Grasshopper. Wallacei is an evolutionary solver and we're using it in this example to optimize the form of a respirator or mask to fit over someone's face. So the optimization is targeting the wearability, the comfort of the form and also the size of the cartridge, which is this rectangular shape. So our input is the mask and then also this curve which defines the boundary or the interface between the mask and the face. So we've set up the basic model here so we're generating the surface. And now we're going to set up an optimization goal that we can give to Wallacei so it can run through its process to optimize this form.
