…Let's talk about an advanced transformation technique called Paneling.…Paneling is…essentially a repeated morphing operation over an irregular surface.…Now, in the example here, I've got a base geometry that I've drawn in Rhino.…This is actually two separate solids.…And I've got some curves that I've lofted to form a surface.…Imagine that this form is maybe a ring or…a bracelet that a jewelery designer might be working on.…So, with paneling, we can take a surface and divide it up into a series of target…boxes, then apply a box morph to our base geometry to fit each of those boxes.…
And as you can see, as the curvature of the surface changes,…the morph geometry changes too.…This is a great example of something that would be very difficult,…if not impossible to do, in Rhino without the aid of Grasshopper.…So, let's walk through our Grasshopper definition.…So first, we'll start off with the surface profile curves from Rhino.…So those are the curves that are forming this general shape.…And we'll loft them into a surface.…
