- [Instructor] In the beginning of this course, we discussed the attributes of right brain creatives. That's us. We then unpacked the characteristics of our left brained co-workers, and compared and contrasted them with our traits and inclinations. This context should give you a better understanding of the dynamics you're currently experiencing between you and the others in your organization. Hopefully this understanding will kickstart your empathy drive, and will empower you to interact with your coworkers in other departments more effectively, or at the very least, more nicely. This may seem a bit too touchy feely though, so I want to get specific and present actual practices and behaviors you can leverage to work better with others outside of your creative tribe. The most powerful tool available to you in bridging any real or perceived gaps between you and others, and establishing mutual trust, understanding, and respect with those others, is strategic, effective communication…
