You can never have enough photographic textures
- [Instructor] So let's talk visual textures and as you can see here, we're talking a wide range of imagery when I say visual texture. Sometimes we're talking about something that's recognizable. Sometimes not so much. Sometimes it's a repeating pattern and something that's a little more free from. Sometimes there's a sense of perspective with visual texture and sometimes it can be imagery that involves metal or wood, maybe concrete or water, fabric, tile, paper, drippy paint, crackle paint. Could be organic matter, could be light, it could be clouds, it could be hair, it could be dried mud. It could be literally anything that you can take a picture of and these photos they can be sharply focused, they can be partially focused, they can be blurred, and they can be of something that's highly recognizable or of something that's, who knows what. Anything goes here, seriously, anything. So that's what a visual texture is. It's a lot of things. But what good are photos of this kind and why…
