- [Instructor] Let's start and let's take a minute by just talking about why should you care about leadership? Because I think leadership is something that a lot of people feel like well, it's something that I know it should be important, but why should I really care about it? And I think that you should care about it for two different reasons. One that's personal, but one that's a little bit bigger. Because developing leadership skills will absolutely have an affect on your career, I think far more than you might imagine that it would. And the reason why that's going to be is that some of it is going to very directly affect your financial success. Now, a few years ago, Carnegie Mellon did a study. They looked at creatives and they looked at what makes them successful, what are the talents and the skills that they really need to really move on in their career?
