- [Instructor] We've talked about why you should want to be a better leader, why you should do it personally, why you should do it for the bigger opportunities that are out there. This leads us to one very simple question, where do you start? Because I think the thing is that, we're going to need a new set of skills to become a leader, and I just want to take a minute to really get you to understand that this is going to take time, especially with creative teams. And the reason why that's going to take time is just because, well, leadership, anything really that's challenging, is a process, and leadership in particular, well it's like falling in love or it's like getting a best friend. If you go back and you think about whenever you met your girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, significant other, one of your best friends, it doesn't happen all at once, because what it actually is is it's going to be a process that's going to take time and it's going to take persistence.
