When and how to use interactive content
- [Instructor] Interactive content is visual content designed with clickable elements that allow a user to dive deeper into the information at hand. While demand for infographics has grown considerably over the years, demand for interactive content has grown as well, just at a slower pace. The slower growth can be attributed to a number of factors, most notable of which is cost. The time to develop an interactive infographic for example is roughly three times as long as it takes to develop and design a static infographic. Because of this, interactive content often costs more than static, and therefore has a lower demand at the moment. The most popular forms of interactive content in visual campaigns include parallax scroll landing pages, interactive widgets, interactive timelines, and interactive data visualizations.
