Welcome

- If you're dragging your feet to work in the mornings or you feel that your creativity or growth is stifled in your current design position, I'm here to offer you some advice. My name is Diane Domeyer and I am the executive director for The Creative Group. TCG is a Robert Half company that specializes in connecting creative professionals with companies that are looking to hire in marketing, design, and digital. We offer services for placement on a freelance basis, direct hire basis, and offer project solutions for our clients. I have committed the last 25 years of my career to helping individuals navigate their career path and journey as well as helping companies find the talent that they need to be successful. The reality is your job is much more than something that pays the bills. You dedicate a great amount of your time and energy to what you do every day. And as a matter of fact, most of us devote the majority of our waking hours to our jobs. So think about it. It's more than what pays the bills. It's an opportunity where we can create and share ideas. It's where we connect with colleagues and customers. It's where we build our skills for the future. So the reality is shouldn't you be in a job that you love? Shouldn't you be in a job that inspires you and makes you proud of your work and excited to go to the office? Shouldn't you be in a job that rewards you properly, both in overall compensation and job satisfaction and career growth? The reality is a creative career can be very rewarding. I like to refer to it as a career journey versus a career path. Careers are most often not linear. There's lots of twists and turns. Career journeys offer professionals a variety of career opportunities, and as a matter of fact, it's very common for design professionals to change their career trajectory. In this course, I'll share some tips and industry insights to help you navigate your design career. Join me as we explore the next steps in your career journey.
