- There has probably never been a time when design has become such a critical part of communication and so highly desired by businesses. As a designer, your worth is rising commensurate with the value you create for your customers or your employer. Because design is such a subjective field with many possible solutions, it can be a challenge for us to qualify our benefits to a highly objective minded client. But the exceptional news is our field is cresting that objection with a brilliant group of design leaders. Folks like yourself are designing smarter with empirical guidance like this logo trend report that allow you to stand up for and justify your efforts. You serve as the design eyes for your clients. You're regarded by them because you've taken the initiative to better understand and connect with the trends and shifting whims of consumers. You bring that folio and insight to them, and that's exactly what we're going to discuss today. I'm going to share with you how designers are capturing the public's eye by introducing a new treatment in techniques to the surface of their own logo designs. How to differentiate them and cause them to rise out of the page. You'll be introduced to trends in form that are swaying many designers to reembrace simpler geometry and cleaner aesthetic and how stripes in design have suddenly become such a ubiquitous force. We'll investigate the newest symbolic icons from digital language building strong traction with society and even the resurgence of a symbol first recorded some 3,500 years ago. Next we'll talk dimension in logo design and how shapes are taking a novel twist in appearance and sometimes even being optimized when they're hidden or how a techniques once considered impractical is reinventing itself to create 3D shapes that are packed with symbolism. Lastly, we'll round out our survey by sharing three freshly minted design directions being applied to the most prevalent logo design technique of the last decade. I'm so ready to do this.
