- Even in today's digital world, an old school resume still has the power to land you a new job opportunity, as a matter of fact, it's imperative. A traditional resume is a key job search tool. According to research from TCG, 78% of advertising and marketing executives that we surveyed said that they prefer receiving traditional resumes in a Word document or PDF form for open creative roles. Far fewer executives favored online profiles, 14%, and video or infographic resumes, 3%.
