- [Instructor] Now that we understand the different…font formats let's take a look at where fonts come from.…The first sources we'll consider are the operating systems…that run most of our computers, macOS and Windows.…If you look in the font's folders on your computer,…you'll see dozens, or even hundreds of font files.…And if you wanna manage all those fonts…without causing problems it would help to know…which ones came with your operating system.…You can't tell just by looking at the fonts.…Fortunately, there are resources online…that list the exact fonts that come with macOS and Windows.…
One helpful source is Wikipedia.…This page shows which fonts are installed with Windows.…And here you can see a preview of each font,…the available styles, and the version of Windows…where the font was first included.…If you're a mac user, you can check out this Apple Support…page which lists all the fonts…that are installed with High Sierra.…These fonts are installed in two places:…the systems fonts folder and the fonts folder…
